I recently submitted some designs to a spacey rock band but they must not have found them very aMUSEing. A bunch of people liked it so I decided to submit it to designbyhumans.com, please vote for it here and let’s get this sucker printed!
First attempt at slapping some photos together to create some sort of cinematic slideshow, I might make some more. Watch on youtube to see the HQ version.
3 new (older) tees now available
Awhile ago I came to the realization that while I liked the concept of some of my older tees, they felt dated aesthetically. I went ahead and “Reset” three of them and they are now available for purchase at the Fullbleed store. More may come.
fall out boy heritage tee
My old buddies in Fall Out Boy asked me to design a shirt as a bundle for their greatest hits CD preorder. Only problem was they wanted it based off of past work I have done for them. Between t-shirts, posters, stage banners, magazine covers, packaging etc… I have done well over 30+ pieces for them, so fitting a wide variety of styles on one shirt didn’t make much sense. Luckily I think I made some sense out of the madness, and the white + heather black combo always works. Order here.
Tauntr.com / Athletic Supporters
I’ve never been a sports fan. Never once watched an entire baseball, basketball, football game from start to finish (this does not include the Royal Rumble or Wrestlemania). I must either have a really low attention span or I just don’t care about watching other people run around for a few hours. I could name maybe 5 baseball players currently in the game (is Daryl Strawberry still around?)
That being said, the fine folks at tauntr.com commissioned me to create some fictional baseball fans for the launch of their new site. Check out the “Athletic Supporters” at tauntr.com and get to know the asshole behind you.

Rejected Michael Jackson Designs
Last summer I had the pleasure of being asked to create some designs for Michael Jackson’s “This Is It” tour. I got a bunch of them approved by Michael himself which totally blew my mind. Fast forward a week or two and Michael passed away. The shirts were still printed and eventually his people asked me to do some more. I was given creative reign over what direction to go for “Thriller” based designs so I thought what better than vintage comics? Unfortunately the Jackson estate passed on these, but the merch company was happy with them and said “MJ would have approved them if he were still alive”
Thanks Michael!
By posting these I fully expect them to pop up in some t-shirt shops in Indonesia soon, oh well.
The Powerplant.
One of the hardest parts about exploring isn’t how to get into a building, it is simply finding a good parking spot. I had scouted a new location earlier in the week and found a campus with a good 8 vacant buildings, unfortunately the locals tend to after the place and the police patrol regularly, so parking on the campus wasn’t going to do the trick.
My only option was parking a little over 1/2 mile away off the side of the road. I soon found out the hard way this wasn’t going to work, but luckily I was able to get some help about 90 minutes later.
Fed up with this location, I headed over to an old favorite and saw some spots I’ve never seen before. Here are a few, more at flickr…

3 months removed from the last update and five new characters are already up! introducing christcore, neothrash, applestore indie, the post rocker and most importantly… CRABCORE!
